Me gusta mucho el arte homo-erótico, también me gusta mucho el arte que sale de las prisiones, es impresionante, esto definitivamente influye en mis obras, asi como otros temas latinos.

I like the homo-erotic art. I also love the art that comes from prisons, it’s impressive, that and other Latin themes definitely influence my art.

Recientemente recibí un incentivo de $10,000 por parte de la ciudad de Los Ángeles para seguir creando arte.
Lo que hice fue someter una aplicación en el departamento de cultura
junto con muestras de mi arte, les gustó lo que hago, y decidieron premiarme.
Recently, I received a grant for $10,000 from the City of Los Ángeles to continue creating art.
What I did was submitting an application to the Cultural Department with samples of my art, they did like it and decided to give it to me.

Creo que como artista gay que soy tengo la obligación y la ventaja de poder crear arte que refleja nuestro estilo de vida, y de plasmar los más recientes acontecimientos que pasan en nuestra comunidad, como el matrimonio gay.
As a gay artist I feel the obligation and the advantage of being able to create art that reflects our life style, and to proyect the most recent events that take place in our community, such as Gay Marriage.

Casi la mayoría de las exhibiciones que hago son para galerías comunes y siempre tratan de censurarme. Esta exhibición es especialmente para la comunidad gay latina, donde no habrá censuras. El arte erótico es parte de mi y de lo que soy.
Almost all of my exhibitions have been part of the mainstream galleries and they always try to censure my art. This exhibition is specially for the Gay Latino Community, with no censure. Erotic Art is part of me, part of what I am.
