There are artists who reinvent themselves through image, and others—like Osvaldo Supino—who choose to bloom starting from truth. Charisma and simplicity remain his hallmarks, but today the Italian singer-songwriter adds a new dimension to his artistry: a mature sensuality, born from a deeply human and painful journey.
Osvaldo Supino is the most awarded and internationally recognized independent Italian artist. He is the only Italian artist ever nominated three times at the BT Digital Music Awards in the UK, has won two Laiffa Awards in Los Angeles, received the Eccellenza Pugliese nel Mondo Award, the UNICEF Award, the MEI Revelation Artist Award, several Nickeclip Awards, a Renaissance Award, the Non Violent Film Festival Award, and the “Revelación Internacional del Año” Award at the Latinos Chicago Awards.
His music has become a manifesto of inclusion: a committed human rights activist and strong voice within the LGBTQ+ community, Supino transforms personal experiences—love, heartbreak, resilience—into a universal language.
His latest work, Fine, Thanks, is not just an album but a therapy. “Choosing the songs was an emotional journey,” he explains, “after the end of a relationship and a psychotic breakdown. Music helped me put the pieces back together.”
Today, his sensuality shines not as a mere aesthetic exercise but as an act of liberation. “For a long time I didn’t love my body. I was obsessed with the gym, strict diets… yet I always felt ugly and uncomfortable in front of the mirror. It was the reflection of insecurities that my partner at the time projected on me. Now I understand it, and I embrace myself with strength.”
For Supino, sensuality is about confidence: “One of the first things I notice in a guy is his smile, his enthusiasm for life.”
Faithful to his activism, he also speaks openly about sexual health: “I believe PrEP is important, but it does not replace condoms. I know the difference, but it’s crucial to protect yourself, from HIV and many other diseases and viruses.”
Love, too, has taken on a new meaning. “More than believing in love, I’m learning to believe in myself. I’ve finally found that kind of love within, and it took me a long time.”
Looking back, he doesn’t regret anything: “Watching my old videos makes me feel tender, but I also see the strength I had. This is a tough business: every day you start from scratch, and you need discipline and infinite energy.”
Off stage, Supino admits to being shy and reserved, sometimes uncomfortable in large crowds. But on stage, everything changes: “Music makes me powerful.”

El carisma y la sencillez siguen siendo sus señas de identidad, pero hoy el cantautor italiano añade una nueva dimensión a su arte: una sensualidad madura, fruto de un camino humano intenso y doloroso.
Osvaldo Supino es el artista independiente italiano más premiado y reconocido a nivel internacional. Su más reciente trabajo, Fine, Thanks, no es solo un disco, sino una terapia. “Elegir las canciones fue un recorrido emocional”, confiesa, “tras el final de una relación y una crisis psicótica. La música me ayudó a recomponerme”.
Hoy, su sensualidad se expresa no como un acto estético, sino como un acto de liberación. “Durante mucho tiempo no amé mi cuerpo. Me obsesioné con el gimnasio, las dietas estrictas… pero siempre me veía feo y en guerra con el espejo. Era el reflejo de las inseguridades que me transmitía mi pareja de entonces. Ahora lo entiendo, y me abrazo con fuerza.”
Para Supino, la sensualidad es sentirse seguro de sí mismo: “Una de las primeras cosas que miro en un chico es su sonrisa, su entusiasmo por la vida.”
Coherente con su compromiso social, también habla abiertamente de salud sexual: “Creo que la PrEP es importante, pero no sustituye al preservativo. Sé bien la diferencia, pero es fundamental protegerse, también de muchas otras enfermedades y virus.”
El amor, en su vida, ha adquirido un nuevo significado: “Más que creer en el amor, estoy empezando a creer en mí mismo. Finalmente he encontrado ese amor dentro de mí, y me ha costado mucho tiempo.”
Al mirar atrás, no reniega nada: “Revisar mis viejos videos me da ternura, pero también me hace ver la fuerza que tuve. Este es un negocio duro: cada día se empieza desde cero y se necesita disciplina y energía infinita.”
Fuera del escenario, Supino se define como tímido y reservado, a menudo incómodo en grandes multitudes. Pero en el escenario, todo cambia: “La música me hace poderoso.”
