Creating a modern love story that captivates their fans, bombshell fiancées Zashia Santiago and Taylor Tate hosted their engagement celebration at Remi on May 2, 2025, at 6:30 PM. Partnered with The Artful Bachelorette, this chic event was an intimate, playful experience with live figure drawing, guided by professional artists, champagne, and luxurious art materials.
Remi on the River, a trendy Miami venue, sets the stage for an upscale yet relaxed gathering. The Artful Bachelorette’s “Parisian salon-meets-girls’ night” vibe blends elegance and fun, with guests sipping drinks, sketching a live model, and connecting creatively, regardless of skill level. But instead of a male model, they had a female model.
The Artful Bachelorette crafts meaningful experiences, fostering connection and joy, as noted by founder Fleur Childs.
“I had so much fun during this experience, laughing with friends and enjoying the moment! But it also allowed me to break through a wall of discomfort and truly lean into being okay with myself,” said Taylor Tate about the engagement party.
Influencers Zashia, Taylor, and Kattya put together the perfect event for a night they’ll remember all their lives.
Zashia Santiago: The Afro-Latina Trailblazer
A Miami-based influencer, model, actress, and YouTube star born August 17, 1989 in Miami, she has a vibrant presence on “The Family Project” channel (407K subscribers, 596K Instagram followers) and has appeared in music videos like DJ Khaled’s “Wit Me” and Ace Hood’s “Bugatti.” Zashia hosted season 3 of “Shades of Beauty” and continues to expand her presence across the media landscape as she challenges conventional beauty standards and uplifts diverse voices.
She also has a thriving music career and has released two e-books focused on social media growth and strategy. A former Wild ‘N Out girl, Zashia is of Dominican, Puerto Rican, and Salvadoran descent, and grew up in a household that celebrated her Afro-Latina roots. A mother of three, she is becoming a voice for women, especially mothers, who do not feel seen, offering them a space to rediscover themselves and their individuality again.
Taylor Tate: Inspiring a New Generation
Taylor Tate is a Florida-based health & wellness coach, trainer, content creator, and influencer. Tay is known for fitness content (#gymtok), queer advocacy (#wlw, #lesbiancouple), and family-oriented posts. She has 347.5K TikTok followers and 225K Instagram followers of her own, @taytate12.
With her bold androgynous style, she’s stepping out of her comfort zone to create space for queer individuals who often feel unheard. Growing up she had huge challenges to overcome, like being sent to a Christian therapist in high school, and now use her platform to inspire others to embrace their true selves, develop their talents and flourish.
Best Friend Kattya Heredia: Peruvian Powerhouse
Zashia’s long-time best friend Kattya Heredia organized the celebration. Born on August 27, 1991, in Lima, Peru, she is making her mark as a model, designer crafting bikinis for the Kayline Collection, and Instagram star as well. Alongside her older sister, Karol Heredia, Kattya discovered her passion for modeling as a teenager, landing her first photoshoot at 19. She soon worked with renowned photographers like Jean Paul, Patrick Neree, and Sam Velasquez.
Kattya’s striking presence went viral with moments like her #ForTheBros boxing photoshoot. She starred in music videos like Trey Songz’s “Not for Long,” and served as a brand ambassador for Tobi Clothing and South Beach Diet. Her Instagram, @kattya_heredia, is a vibrant mix of fitness routines, modeling shots, and glimpses into her life.
“What started as something fun to do with my girlfriends and my wife turned into so much more. It gave me a real sense of confidence to embrace my imperfections. I loved the teaching style! It wasn’t about creating a perfect piece of art, but about fully experiencing it with all the senses,” said Zashia Santiago.
