“Stronger Together” is this year’s theme for the 6th Annual Downey Pride Festival that will be held on August 8, 2026 from 4-10 p.m. Downey Pride celebrates the strength, diversity and resilience of the LGBTQIA+ community while fostering connection, education and belonging.
National Star Rapper and Singer Snow Tha Product will headline the event. Snow Tha Product, a Mexican-American rapper and singer from Southern California is well-known for her rapid-fire flow, lyrical dexterity and powerful storytelling. Her style blends rap, hip hop, R&B, trap, and reggaeton, and she raps in both English and Spanish. With songs like Sabado, On My Shit, and Immigrants, she is known for her upbeat style, sharp punchlines, and technical skill. Her music is influenced by her Mexican roots and childhood idols including Gloria Trevi, Maria Felix, and Alejandra Guzman. For sure, Snow Tha Product has built a loyal following and you won’t want to miss her performance at Downey Pride.
Additional fabulous entertainment scheduled includes DJ Grecko, Banda Orgullo, Bamby Salcedo and still others to join the line-up. There will be a dance area and local food vendors, community organizations providing health services free of charge, artists and artisans selling original queer art and other local vendors. There will be something for everyone.
This year the festival is expected to have more than 8,000 people attend and it’s now the area’s largest celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community. Admission is free and there is also lots of free parking near the festival. Most of the festivities will be centered around Firestone Blvd., and Downey Avenue. Downey Pride is organized by Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol and Drug Abuse (L.A. CADA). As part of L.A. CADA’s commitment to expanding access to care, festival attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy world-class entertainment while learning more about the organization’s behavioral health services, including outpatient and residential substance use treatment, mental health support, prevention services, and recovery resources available throughout Los Angeles County.
