For one night only, the entire park goes gay for the night, which provides a safe and inclusive environment of fun for the LGBTQ community, with rides, dance parties, and performers. This year’s entertainers include Trinity the Tuck (winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4) and Morgan McMichaels (RuPaul’s Drag All Stars 3).
Out on the Mountain did not happen last year due to Covid-19 shut down. So this year, organizers are expecting a big night of participation as park goers have been waiting to ride the attractions again. This includes access and short lines for all the Magic Mountain Park rides and thrill rides including West Coast Racers, CraZanity, justice League: Battle for Metropolis, Twisted Colossus, Full Throttle, Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom, Superman: Escape from Krypton, Batman: The Ride, The New Revolution – Classic, Tatsu, Ninja, The Riddler’s Revenge and X2.
Out on the Mountain is the creation of Six Flags Magic Mountain with Ray Rhodes and Out Ventures back in 2008. Over 5,000 people are expected to attend this year’s event. Funds are also raised for local LGBTQ organizations and charities. The entire park is closed to the general public for this private party from 6 pm to 1 am.
